That's partisan politics for ya ... reality is far more mixed - i voted for Harper here, so far he's only pissed me off in two ways - he came out with a statement supportive of zionist control of indigenous land, and he's trying to stuff a bad lumber deal down our throats, one that has not only tariffs and quotas both, but hands a billion dollars of canadian forestry money over to the very snakes of Washington who bought the politicians who started up this whole rip-off in the first place

Chávez and Castro are dickheads, face it .... look at what they've done for their nations - you don't have to turn bushevik to see that there just may be a better way ... Fidel has outlasted ten presidents, well whoop-de-doo, and my wife's friend's mother has to get a permit to leave her country to visit here ... when she's home the only reasons she's not licking garbage cans to survive is that 1. they've been licked clean already, and 2. she gets cheques from her daughter here, who does not need a permit to leave her new country ... a frickin permit, man, think about all that means

True free enterprise has never been tried anywhere ... partly because, any place that did try it, would have to deal with past injustices - in all of Latinoamérica, that means dealing with the fact that the great majority of land and resources has been ripped off by elites - including Cuba and Venezuela where the elites have changed identities but not their fundamental nature, imho ... and this sets up a culture in which no one believes anything could ever be just and righteous, therefore one's job is to get all one can, by any means necessary

Ever read de Soto? - en.wikipedia.org
... more should, imho, especially more latinos ... he was born in Arequipa, btw, not far from Pierina ... neoliberalism has a bad name among latinos because it has been applied in partial and unjust manner [no time to explain that, got to go], but a fresh start at it using classic principles from Adam Smith through de Soto is the way to go ... education is key, as in all places and all times

sml.v - attraction is it's cheap -g- ... i'm more of a bottom fisher than a momo player, willing to wait more than you are, looks like .... and when i do do momo, look what happens - i've been adding to bmc.v since friday [or thursday? - can't recall], and this is the fourth day in a row it's hung in around this level, arrgh, lol .... ah well, can always click it over to the Patience file
