I'm not so sure that Lieberman can't win the primary. I've heard that a lot of Republicans are switching so they can vote for Lieberman in the primary. As far as turnouts for rallies, Lamont probably gets great turnouts because he has a hardcore fan base, but it's just a Senatorial primary, so the average state voter isn't getting all giddy about it. The Blogs make this election look like it's Armageddon for the soul of national politics, but the average Connecticut voter ain't that moved by the whole thing. It's a MUCH bigger deal on the internet than on the streets of Hartford.
