Good questions. Looking at the long-term seasonal charts, I'd have to say there is a chance, yes. Consider nibbling now after your vacation. Split your desired positions (yeah, like we always know what that is :) into 3 or 4 or more parts - particularly if you're thinking about an intermediate term hold.

That is kinda where I am now.
