Snook, In a tournament with hundreds or thousands of entries, nobody wins by skill alone. If you don't put some bad beats on folks now and then, you are out of the tourney. I got one yesterday where I called an all in with 6/7 of clubs. I only had three big blinds left in my stack, so I had to do something. The other guy turned over AA. I pulled three clubs on the board. He didn't say a thing. Now, that's a real player. AA is not a guaranteed win. But that was one awful beat I laid on him.

Some players are totally irrational and just waste their lives whining about beats.

How long did your tourney last? I haven't played one yet in the Moneymaker because it looks like a long sit down that is unlikely to make my daily nut. <G>

Congrats, btw.
