There are still many liberals in the Democrat party. The extremists seem to be the most motivated. For them offensive people like Cynthia McKinney and William Jefferson are ok because they are registered democrat. We will see if this portends anything: "Two primaries do not make a trend. But if next week, political commentators wake up and find Ms. McKinney has been ousted a second time from Congress while Mr. Lieberman has overcome the vitriolic onslaught of the liberal bloggers, they will have to acknowledge, that reports of the death of the moderate wing of the Democratic Party have been greatly exaggerated."
