Hi SD -- yes I know that there is water under AZ -- about 10 years ago I was on a plane sitting next to a guy from the USGS. He told me the aquafer was dropping 2 feet per year.

AZ might get the Colo River water first, but the real problem is that so many people moving into AZ will strain the ability to deliver that water -- which will run out in about 20 years.
