Bush's Mexican border policies are a disgrace. Though we badly need more security, and have for many-many years, Bush waited until an election season when he had no other issues to run on to pay lip service to the issue, the Guardsmen he's sent are a scant miniscule force. The fence is highly controversial as to its effectiveness. And in the 13 years Bush has been in power as presdient and governor of the largest border state he has done nothing but support more illegal immigration. In fact I found this quote.

GW Bush 1995 "If they can get across the Rio Grande, we want 'em".
