Speaking of Nobel winners Kirk, did you know that Harry Markowitz, a Nobel prize winner for his work on MPT (Asset Allocation), has a portfolio of 50% index funds and 50% bonds?

Markowitz noted that perhaps he should have calculated the covariances of the specific classes and determined his best allocation, but to "minimize future regret", he decided on the 50/50 approach.

Screw it Harry said, 50/50 is close enough. None of those pricey arcane DFA funds nor that core and explore nonsense for Harry.
