If he really meant the whole Core 2 Duo family, he might be starting the 7 weeks from the time of the first Woodcrest shipments, back in mid-June. If he means Conroe or Conroe/Merom, then it could be that most new Core 2 parts are being shipped as Woodcrests for now. I guess if you can't trust his command of the English language, or if he omitted some qualification that is necessary to make his statement true, I guess he could have meant anything at all. What good are statements like these if you have to mind-meld with the guy to figure out what the hell he's trying to say? . . . Oh, silly me, I forgot for a moment: Otellini's a marketing guy...
