Somewhere in the world, forget the US, I'd like to hear an influential voice declare the obvious, i.e. that the 1948 establishment of the state of Israel was an unjust, colonial move and should be reversed. There are so many places in the world which would welcome Jewish immigrants. Why must they stay in the land where the Arabs were the overwhelming majority for 17 centuries? I personally don't believe that the US will be able to launch a wider war. The failure of morale among the US troops will become obvious. The morass of Iraq gets more and more clear, day by day,month by month. I think there is a fine case for buying oil stocks, namely that discoveries are not matching depletions any more. But not because of some war against Iran. Use of nuclear weapons would finally unite the rest of the world against the US, therefore it probably won't happen. I
