The weather story this year is the drought. So far, I've read about droughts in the Plains, north-central states and SE states of the US. In addition, there is drought in Britain, the Netherlands, parts of Germany, Poland, the Baltic countries, parts of Spain and Italy, central Asia - Afghanistan, Bangladesh and NE India, and Australia. No one, has yet put this 'together' in the news as far as I can tell. It seems to be a global story.
