Which is why we should confront extremist religious views wherever we find them... This Rabbinical ruling should be just a fervently condemned as any fanatical religious ruling by Hizbullah and Iran. I certainly condemn it. Just as I condemn that photo of Israeli girls writing on artillery shells. Just as I condemn the use of children as suicide bombs and molotov cocktail throwers. Israel has its share of extremists who will use religion to justify their actions. What you fail to realize is that the goal of people like you and I should be to confront these religious fanatics, regardless of whether they be Christian, Muslim, or Jewish.. etc. But you can't get past your obvious bias and look past the trees and see the forest.
