You can buy houses like that in developments within 30 mins drive of Dallas all day long. Most advertise "from the 200's" or something similar, some even lower. That one is east of Dallas just outside the 635 beltway. Go further north and the "communities" are growing like mushrooms.

That's why it's hard to make a buck in Dallas real estate, the supply of cheap new stock is endless.
