Just because someone is rich doesn't mean its right to take half of his wealth (a large part of it already taxed) when he dies. Whether it his the top 50% or the top .001% doesn't change that.

What Bushies want is to gradually move the estate tax cuts up the ladder until all estates are tax-free.

Fine by me.

Then you have the robber baron elite again, the permanent very rich and then everyone else trying to climb up to their level.
