Re: More than that. Doesn't Intel have a new Netburst stepping out in September? What's wrong with that? The newer steppings are supposed to help a bit with power consumption, although it will remain high. Few Socket-775 motherboards are Conroe compatible and there are/will be many millions of non-Conroe compatible motherboards that will need something other than Conroe.
