More competition gives you better prices, more different types of goods to buy, even in many cases higher quality goods to buy. It doesn't only shave a bit off the price at cheap goods at Wallmart. It creates extra economic efficiency, allows for greater specialization and application of comparative advantage, and increases world economic output.

While the law-breaking American employers walk away with enormous profits, and a slave wage workforce that never makes any demands in the workplace for fear of deportation. Thankfully Congress has finally realized voters are prepared to replace them, if nothing is done to punish the lawbreaking American employers, and they fail to stem the tide of illegals crossing the border.

Once again, I'm talking about trade not immigration. Please don't confuse the two. If you want to change the subject that's your prerogative, but don't mix the two up its pointless and potentially confusing.
