Bushies only care about the very rich except maybe during election seasons. If you look at where they put their political capital, it's always 90% fighting for the tycoon class, the big mega-corps, the permanently wealthy old money or corporate CEO class, none of whom need a tax break, many of whom dont even want one. In fact the US now has the lowest taxes for the rich in the western world, but also the grossest deficit spending in history, more than all other nations combined. SO they're bankrupting our country to help the billionaires basically. In the US today, using all the tax loopholes and write-offs, a very rich person making a million a year pays less percentage wise thasn the ordinary working stiff, who gets withholding taxes taken out of his paycheck upfront. Bush's small tax break for the working class was also a sham. Because while he handed them say $1000 with one hand his cronies picked their pockets with the other, health care, energy prices doubling, then left them with the debt. The book "Perfectly Legal" shows Bush's tax code benefits only those making over 500 K a year. If you make less you're getting screwed.
