Clark appears spineless. He admitted the only reason he's a Democrat is because the GOP didn't return his phone call when he first decided to enter the political arena. Does that sound like a man of determination?...I don't think so.

Party hacks in both political parties can be abrupt and rude. A person with backbone doesn't allow the go'fers to influence major decisions. If he had any real intestinal fortitude he would've approached a powerful GOP operative and in no uncertain terms made it clear why he was valuable candidate material. Instead he became a Democrat by default. Therefore, would Clark cower in the face of grandstanding by a Hillary type as Secy of Defense? Probably.
