It seem most Americans (65%) have the common sense to realize the Israeli / Hezbollah War is empowering the Muslim radicals and destroying any goodwill the US has in the region. Methinks Iran grows stronger and more influential – especially in Iraq - as events unfold in the Middle East - and that’s just plain ironic isn't it? Seems one of the only things holding a lid on Iraq is that there has been some support for Bush's goals by the Shia. Lose that and Iraq becomes a moot point - there just no reason to stay and spin in the mud. There are way more Shia than Sunnis. Swatting away at a hornets nest isn't always a good idea.
