An ALYD rhyme, recited to me by Fairy Godmother:
"A couple of shopkeepers, household names they say, recognizable by all, shook hands, and bet on a horse.
Since betting on a horse, is of course, not yet an honor to proclaim, the shopkeepers pick and choose, what and when to say."
"How much did they bet, Fairy Godmther?" I blurted out.
"One of them no less than 6,000,000 gooseggs," said the Fairy Godmother.
"Wow," said I, "hope they can tell about their bet out loud soon! 'Cause a lot of people don't think the horse can even run anymore, and have stopped feeding it!"
Bounced Czech (Love fairytales about horses, but only with happy endings!) |
