Well, Euterpe, I guess I'm in a melodramatic mood today.

I was going to add to the list of 30 years from now that our social fabric will be hanging under glass in the Smithsonian, so frayed that it must be preserved in a vacuum. Schoolchildren (two-thirds of them classified as special needs) will visit the exhibit to view the tattered remnants as a curious reminder of our bigoted past.
