Thanks for your positive comments.

Adobe Premiere and After Effects will likely support DVCPRO (and DV in general) via QuickTime 3.0. I'm not sure what Adobe is saying publicly about a new version of those applications which support QT 3.0, so it's best to get that directly from them.
