Perhaps the US and Israel have been trying and planning a way to go to war with Syria and Iran for quite some time, or perhaps that initial soldier kidnapped by Hamas was merely chance?
Is Iran an imminent threat? Probably not. Most experts say they are many years off from having a nuclear capability to produce a weapon. Do Syria and Iran desire extinction for Israel? Absolutely, and it is on this vocal uttering that Israel is perhaps so willing to conspire with the US on a plan.
Does the US want to expand control in the Middle East? Ask Wallstreet, Big Oil, and the Military Machine.
Israel is already prepared to strike uranium sites. The US has already upped the supply of weapons to Israel. The plans may be unfolding while most in the US are more concerned with the hair color of some actress this week.
Could the US be using Israel's war with to move to a full-scale war with Syria and Iran? Will the US convince the UN, the EU, and Russia that there needs to be a defense agreement between Israel and the US since only the US can "protect" them? Will this be accompanied by more giving up land to the Palestinians for peace -- a goal of the UN, the EU, and Russia?
If this type of deal is swung, the US can easily claim to be bound to defend Israel from the supporters of Hamas and Herzbollah -- Syria and Iran. And the US would almost have secured the "blessing" from the UN, the EU, and Russia to move to the next phase of war.
Surely the Islamist would see a plan like this unfolding and try to stop it? Perhaps not. Some say that the eschatology of the radical Islamist is very similar to that of Christianity -- they believe in the "end" that the evil ones (Jews and Christians) will rise up in a great battle against righteous Islam and just as they are about to be wiped out, Mohammad and Christ will appear and defend them. Does this story sound familiar at all? When you have leaders on both sides firmly believing the same story (all except the winner of course) and their calling to bring it about, what are the odds of this scenario actually playing out? I actually believe it is prophecy, but for those who are atheists, agnostics, or just intellectuals, just look at the facts now and the odds.
Anyone hear the administration saying things about smaller nuclear weapons being needed as a credible deterrent against rogue states like Syria and Iran?
Maybe it ends at Lebanon and a peace treaty. But if not, watch out. WWIII is coming soon to a channel near you.
