Promoting is one thing; invasion, forcing regime change with inadequate planning to suit a preconceived master plan, fracturing the fragile balance in which we live on this planet, riding roughshod over diplomacy...

As for your next post:
It is terribly easy to spout aphorisms. One of my favorite lines from Chariots of Fire is when Sybil leans into Abrahams and says, "That SOUNDS clever, what does it mean?"
Too often those pithy apothegms are used as if they validated something which actually requires quite a bit more understanding and depth before the adage can be applied with confidence.
