Gib thats no worse than this more "here and now" question: If the universe is expanding ..... WHAT is it expanding into .... I don't think there is a time point less than -0- and we certainly cannot debate it .... i.e. you win .... Our universe could just be a pimple on somebody else ARSE's .... so time resorts back to their scale .... and on and on and on ... which means .... there is some very beginning .... i.e. timepoint 0 I'm optimistic and think we'll have a handle on most of this in the next couple of hundred years ... but ... damn .... I'm gonna miss it regards, John
