How many terrorists did your first black president create with his attacks against Somalia, Afghanistan, Iraq, and the former Yugoslavia?

The situations in Somalia and Yugoslavia were so different from those of Lebanon and Iraq that it makes me want to put you back on ignore for trying to make the comparison. Grow up, harris, and realize that you can't justify the nightmare that Bush and the Israelis have created.

You should review the facts instead of what you think are the facts just because what you think feels right and fits your position.

I am going to take the time to post back to you even though I know it will make little difference to you.

Sometimes in an argument between two people, both sides have a point and so a compromise needs to be found in order to bring peace to the two people. Unfortunately, too often these days we believe that that is always the case.........that there are always two sides to every argument; that both sides are right and that a compromise must be found.

However, that's not always true. Certainly, the South believing that slavery was a good thing was not right. The fact that Hitler thought the rest of Europe was Germany's manifest destiny made him very wrong. The argument that the Aryan Nation presents to the world that whites are the superior race...that's wrong too. There are many instances when a particular side or POV is wrong.......and that a compromise would be a big mistake.

That's the case now with you and I. If you were right, you wouldn't have to pretend that I support Hezbollah and think they are the good guys. You wouldn't have to try to make me look bad so that others will look down upon me. You wouldn't have to work your argument so ferociously.

Now the reason why you are wrong is because you start from an incorrect premise. That means no matter how well you craft your position it can never be right because the originating premise is invalid.

As for me, long before this discussion, I had looked at all the facts regarding the birthing of Israel. What I found out was so compelling I changed my position on Israel. That meant I studied the history of Israel and this region in the ME from a lot of different angles. I didn't rely on one source.........I went to multiple sources......some were neutral, some were on the side of the Arabs and some were on the side of the Israelis. After reading all the sides, I came to the conclusion that my original position on Israel had been wrong. I was once a fervent supporter of Israel but after learning all the facts, I could no longer in good conscious support Israel's statehood.

Israel should never have been allowed to come into existence. Too many people were screwed in the process. Rarely does anything good comes from a bad deal or a forced marriage.......we all know that. However, its hard to be an American and argue that POV. Most Americans believe that the Israelis occupy the good guy domain almost exclusively while the Arabs occupy the bad guy domain. Like with most generalities, neither are very true.

But I am tired of pretending that these generalities are correct and that Israel has a right to exist. It does not. It stole its way into statehood. I think it was a great idea......in the best of all possible worlds, I would like the Israelis to have their own state. However, there is a significant problem.......the world is pretty much occupied and carved up. And that was as true back in 1948 as it is now. The Zionists knew that but they pushed their case......and pushed and pushed until they got what they wanted. However, when you force something, it usually doesn't work out. And Israel is not workng out. There are too many people who have died over this creation. There have been too many battles fought. There is too much anger. Its time to pull the plug. Israel needs to be dismantled. If we can find another place that would be great. I think the Israelis need to be compensated...........they really improved and upgraded the property while they occupied it.

I see no other possible solution other than this never ending fighting that will end up destroying the world.
