At some point, given your dark view of the future for israel, the Israelis will use their nukes on someone that flattens Tel Aviv. Neither of us want this outcome i know but truth be told there would be no hizbolla if south lebanon was nuked and personally I think israel would do this rather than see Tel Aviv levelled by cruise missiles. This is the other side of assymetric warfare that folks forget. Same goes for the US in its wars and some of the left already claims that use of nukes have been under discussion by the Bush admin. Please address the other side of assymetric warfare when the stronger side has either been peppered by suicide attacks or unlimited katushas carrying ball bearings for maximum civilian damage or by cruise missiles. What about use of poison gas which we know is in the syria/iran arsenal? And with the syrians talking tough now, what do you think the israelis have in store for them if they crossed such a line. What the israelis have not done is to make the consequences of certain actions clear to all, even if that is an admission of their owning nukes which everyone knows they do in the first place.
