False parallel. Neither one constitutes a political party with seats in Congress.

And neither did Hizbullah prior to 2005.

And I'm sure you actually believe that supply of 12-15,000 missiles and their heavily armed militia didn't have anything to do with their obtaining political power?

Give the Nation of Islam, or KKK, the military power to EXCEED that of the US armed forces and I guarantee you that they would get some seats in Congress..

But that would STILL make them an illegal militia that has subverted the sovereignty of the nation.

If Hezbohallah controls the Lebanese Government by intimidation then why hasn't Hezbollah managed to get the Lebanese government/military to join the fight against Israel?

Good question, now isn't it??? Maybe Lebanon's government, and its other political members are fully content to see Hizbullah decimated by Israel.

After all, if there were so much support for Hizbullah, as people claim, the Lebanese army should have stepped right in to protect them from the Israelis.
