I saw a young girl (teen-aged, I'm sure) with a hideous tattoo on the side of her face. She had shaved her hair to about 4 inches above her left ear and the tat started up there and went down in front of her ear, cheek and down onto her lower neck. It was some sort of flower, looked like, but it was totally UGLY. Can you imagine a parent putting up with that? When I was 18, just out of Marine Corps boot camp and totally sober, I got a small tattoo on my right shoulder. It doesn't show, even with a short sleeve shirt. I was 22 years old before I let my folks know about it. Even now, as I near 70 years old, I wish I never did that. The kids these days put them where they will attract the most attention, and undress to make sure they show.
