Lower taxes mean that government takes less money from the private sector, and also that the government distorts decisions on investment and spending less than if tax rates where higher. The first benefit is largely eliminated by the borrowing (which also takes money out of the economy) but not the 2nd.

And transfering more wealth to the very rich at the expense of the middleclass.

The transfer of wealth is away from the wealthy, a reduction in the level of that transfer is not the same as transferring wealth the other way. If I give you $10 a day every day, and then I cut it to $5, I did not take $5 a day away from you, or transfer $5 a day to me.
