Lieberman isn't making an effort to build bridges across the Iraq issue and unite his voters around a centrist position. He simply crossed the aisle and dug in his heels. More like one of those Japanese Samurai movies where the Samurai played both sides of the warring parties. Hillary voted for the war taking a centrist position and not suck up to the other side. Whatever Lieberman did, his motives didn't feel pure - at least not to me.
