To be totally honest, I rarely give it a thought anymore. I can't say I regret doing it, but I'd just as soon not have it at all. It's very faded and hard to tell what it is after 50+ years. I can still make out the USMC below the dog, but not clearly. There was a time I considered having it removed. Then I saw a guy that had one removed and he was a scarred mess on his forearm. He got to explain that every time he wore a short sleeve shirt. Mine isn't visible, even in short sleeves.
