All, I think Avant! is playing the only game they can. Their acquisitions are the only way they will stay alive. The longer this drags on the better it is for Avant! Their shares are as overpriced as their acquisitions. As they become a multi-faceted company, it becomes harder and harder to close them down completely. I'm long on CDN, but I think Avant! Is putting on a great fight. The longer this drags on more legitimate products they have to offer, and the less likely they are to be shut down. The civil ruling may go against them, and they will have to pay a great deal of money, but I think they have a serious chance to outmaneuver Cadence via our slow legal system. I want to see them shutdown and key personnel jailed, if in fact they are guilty. Time is against Cadence, and Avant! is playing a slippery game and may in fact come out of this alive. The market reaction is because of the outstanding PR game that they(Avant!) are playing. I don't play the market short, but Avant! would be my first company, if I did. IMHO, Christopher
