Koan hi - I'm glad you posted back .... It goes without saying that I probably have NO point <g> but that never stopped me ... what I am trying to communicate is that it is exceedingly significant that the universe can exist, continue to exist, and then potentially not exist w/o a life form ever existing .... [and I can't prove what I just typed] in my neck of the woods (I'm the odd man out) the universe exists for life-form perpetuated reasons .... iow there is a built in bias implying - in effect - the universe serves us ..... or serves the BIG WHOM .... I think a clearer perspective of the universe is gleaned if its understood by the viewer that its totally irrelevant whether the viewer is here or not to view .... what is being viewed is here .... to really dumb it down .... the minimum requirement for existence is inorganic thingies ... the evidence being the universe itself .... ok - i'd better punt now - regards, John
