We needed more troops and a bigger coalition than we did in Kuwait. Kuwait was a cakewalk.

Kate.. War is NEVER a "cakewalk". People die honey..

Over 200 US servicemen were killed or wounded in Dharan, Saudi Arabia from a SCUD rocket.

People die when insurgents decide to commit suicide attacks against innnocent civilians, who btw, happen to ALSO be muslim.

I would agree that disbanding the Iraqi army was a very bad move. But the decision was made and the repercussions of that decision still weigh upon the country.

But Iraqis continue to join their military and police, despite the tremendous danger to their lives, and to their families.

Explain that.
