Henry,

In one of the many articles on this subject, I read that a certain small percentage (1 or 2%, I think) of the "healthy" population has asymptomatic heart valve irregularites. And that these irregularities show up more in folks getting older. As if it was congenital or natural. I've seen absolute numbers (the now famous 291), but I haven't seen a figure for the precentage of the phen/fen population that might have these irregularities based on a statistically significant study. Maybe someone else has?

The point is that, so far, I haven't seen any evidence that phen/fen causes these problems much beyond the natural rates. But I admit I have not been looking hard.
