Sabots?...in 19thC England they were called clogs. My father's family emigrated from the stocking frame/lace making area of the Midlands in England--where the Industrial Revolution began. Their lives were continuously governed by some callous industrialist constantly trying to make a larger fortune, in order to build an ever larger, more ostentatious estate. An imaginative compromise between Capitalism and Socialism would be the ideal for EVERYONE. As the recent history of USA demonstrates, some restrictions on capitalists are necessary or they will ultimately sell out their own country for increased personal profit.
