I think that the billions of people who are not Americans would be surprised (perhaps not now, but before the treachery of the current Administration), to learn that the interests, views and legitimate rights of all the people on earth outside the US don't matter much.

I never said they don't matter. Only that they control American policy (they may influence it, even influence it very strongly, but the UN doesn't get to dictate to the US. Also importantly the UN is not "the world".

Kicking Iraq out of Kuwait was not "thuggish" or otherwise wrong with or without UN approval. If somehow we couldn't get UN approval we would have done it anyway and there would have been nothing wrong with doing so.

Please send your children and your relatives to be among the first to die.

People make their own decisions, they don't send other people. If you want to argue that I should somehow pay the price you should argue that I should send myself to the front lines, my relatives are not subservient to me. Honestly I don't think the army is crying out for overweight 38 year olds but hey you never know...
