They volunteered. Volunteered. Volunteered. I don't feel sorry for them at all. Unless they were totally dumb and illiterate, they knew what and why they were joining. If they want out, perhaps they could reimburse the Army for their care and training and roof over their head, plus food....good riddance for bad rubbish. Of course, you don't feel sorry for them. Killing is a full time business. There's no room for "feeling sorry" in the war game.
