On this thread it's fine to be iffy about your sexuality, but please don't tell someone else they are. However if anyone wants to share that they personally are, that's fine with me- there isn't anything wrong (imo) with being iffy, but when you use that to try to put someone down you not only insult the person you are using it against, you also insult gays everywhere- because you are buying in to the idea that it IS an insult.

Considering the great men and women who have been gay, it shouldn't be an insult. That's an ancient club one should be proud to be a member of. The fact that some people don't "get" that is part of the problem, whether they are people who want to deny gays the full panoply of rights and benefits straights enjoy, or whether they want to use being gay as a stick to hit the right with.
