What a sick thing to say.

American soldiers are fighting in the worst possible conditions. Temps are over 110º most days in the summer. They are carrying nearly 100 lbs of equipment in that heat. They are contending with sand storms and potentially dangerous insects. The indigenous population hates them. There are IEPs and suicide bombers everywhere. They are fighting an insurgency that is as clever as it is strong. But you don't feel sorry for them because they volunteered hoping to get a college degree that otherwise would be out of their reach.

And I am saying "the sick thing"? That's supporting the troops?

Do any of you have an ounce of empathy in your bones? Do you have any idea the death and deprivation that millions of people are suffering because you all have unleashed the American and Israeli militaries? I can't for the life of me begin to understand how you all think. Its okay to slaughter millions so long as you salute the flag properly! Is that it?

And I am the sick one???
