I doubt he will win. It is too risky considering he is "under indictment" and subject to "probes" by the JD. Too much at stake to bet on someone that could end up in jail. Would result in chaos, needing to find a successor and hold runoffs etc (is that how tx politics works or does gov choose?) and give much fodder for the libs to run on. The libs are happy, happy about republican damaged goods. Politics of corruption and all that BS.
