I am a bit worried about my Texas Democrats. They are fighting to keep Tom DeLay on the ballot. I don't think that is wise. This guy is very popular out in SugarNaziLand. He may just win. The Dems believe having an indicted candidate for the GOP will give them the victory in the general election. Heck, when did Republicans ever care that their candidates were crooks?

No, they should beware of what they wish for. This deal reeks of a boomerang.

BTW, DeLay, of course, also wants off the ballot so he can steal, er, keep the campaign contributions for his defense fund and his slush fund in The Caymans. I don't think he can legally spend them on whatever perversions he prefers until he is off the ballot.
