Ned 49K, Joe 42K, with 30% reporting. By quick math that is around an 8% lead for Lamont. The margin is holding.
I was out talking with Tim for a while. Forgive my lazy updates. With 17% reporting, Lamont leads 56-44, and by around 6,700 votes. The margin is starting to become more of a question than whether or not Lamont wins. This is looking very, very good.

The Lamont website reporting tool is not working. sorry about that. Post new reporting sites int eh comments. I'll be reporting what I hear from the campaign. I just heard that Lieberman won Stamford. But Lamont stays ahead by a healthy margin (I don't have exact figures right now).
Direct word from the campaign: 6,500 vote margin for Lamont with 15% reporting. And Lieberman did lose his home precinct.
Lamont 56%--Lieberman 44%. 7% reporting. The vote margin is around 2,700 votes. I just heard that Lieberman lost his own precinct. I can't verify that.
Lamont 60%--Lieberman 40%. 3% reporting.
Lamont 61%--Lieberman 39%. 2.5% reporting. A great start, but very early.
Lamont 60%--Lieberman 40%. 2% reporting.
Lamont 61%--Lieberman 39%. 1% reporting.
Lamont 57%--Lieberman 43%. 1% reporting.
[update from Matt as the town amounts roll in from Lamont poll watchers - Chapman School in district 2, in Chesire is 116-105 Lieberman... Meriden is going for Lamont, and it should be Joe territory]
