Shuffle Master, Inc. Announces Licensing Agreement with Delta Rangers, Inc.

LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 9, 2006---Shuffle Master, Inc. (NASDAQ Global Select Market: SHFL) announced today that it has licensed to DELTA Rangers, Inc. the exclusive right to use its products in an online Shuffle Master casino site to be located in Malta. The site will feature both "play for fun" and "play for real" options. Specific terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
In exchange for the exclusive license to Shuffle Master's products including popular games like Three Card Poker®, Dragon Bonus® Baccarat and Ultimate Texas Hold'em(TM), DELTA Rangers will establish, operate and market an online gaming site and will pay Shuffle Master royalties based on the site's annual revenues. As part of the agreement, DELTA Rangers agrees to adhere to all regulatory, legal and governance practices required to operate the site and to prevent United States and other countries' customers, players or residents from playing or betting on the site where it is illegal to do so.
