I think GLD is ok. But the old timers took delivery of stock certificates after experiences with the depression and bank crisis because the brokers went broke. This generation has some lessons to learn from the past.. I think bonds especially theres a lot of BS going on. On gold I hold mix of physical, GLD and CEF. Maybe some mines are good too. Some of these canadian royalty trusts are good as gold imo, maybe better depending on your situation Palladium is cheap here. sd
