A comment by First Global analyst: Does this make sense to anyone on this board? Thanks.

QCOM’s stock buckled under pressure from a stream of bad news that came in Q2 FY06. It has
gone down by more than 35% from its peak in May’06 and has fallen by 16% when compared to
6% decline experienced by the broader Nasdaq Composite Index, since our last downgrade in
June ‘06. Considering the declining market share of CDMA vis-à-vis GSM and the competition
from Texas Instruments which is likely to keep a leash on QCOM’s margins We reiterate our
rating of Underperform.
