Been thinking more about that Stalinesque word. Yes, it doesn't fit the Lieberman situation.

When Saddam took over Iraq, called a Baath party meeting, and read out names during a long speech and as each name was spoken, soldiers dragged them out and shot them. That was Stalinesque.

When Raul Castro machine-gunned 250+ men in a ditch after the Cuban revolution, that was Stalinesque. When Che Guevera was running the La Cabana prison executing Jehovahs Witnesses, homosexuals, dissidents, etc. for "crimes against revolutionary morals" that was Stalinesque.

Lieberman was more of an excommunication.
