Thats funny, I thought it was about the Taliban refusing to allow a pipeline, and Saddam's attempt to kill Sr.?

I also believed it was to establish a forward base from which to attack Iran, after the Saudi's kicked us out, but, thats just my thoughts.

All i know is that besides all the money floating around in the Oil for food program, there was a lot of money coming into Iraq from France and Russia. When the US announced it wanted the UN to go into Iraq to look for weapons, France and Russia vetoed it. They vetoed it because they didn't want to lose their investments in Iraq. Otherwise the Iraq invasion would be the same well run kind of thing we had in lebanon. You know UN troops offering to off load the missiles for Hezbollah so they can get some exercise and so the nice terrorists don't get any backstrain.
