I thought I saw the lovely Ms. Coulter on Fox today admitting the Democrats are going to pick up very large number of seats in the mid-term elections. Susan Estrich (hard to take at any time), seemed to me to be twisting poor Annie in knots, which culminated in Ann's admission that the demos will add a lot of seats which "they should do" because it is the thing that happens to the party out of power in mid-term elections.

But how does this admission make sense in light of her rant about democrats having no sense or direction? Will people just vote for democrats cause they aren't republicans? If the demos so "hate Bush" (the words are never far apart in Annie's writings. "Bush -hating- dems") and Bush is a good guy and republicans have the better answers, why will the democrats pick up so many seats, by her admission?

Are the voters all stupid? Or is there something more at work...like perception of failed republican policies.
